“Don’t Feed Cancer!…& a recipe for ‘Tomato Basil Crockpot Pasta Sauce’ & ‘Kidney Beans & Pasta’.”

♥Hi Friends!

Did you know that the decisions you make every day in the things you put in your mouth and on your body, clean your home with, and spray in your yard, can feed or starve cancer?  And really, feed or starve all disease.  And that goes for all the other PHYSICALSPIRITUAL and EMOTIONAL things we bring in to our lives, or experience through or from others and our environments.  Disease can literally be turned on and turned off! “EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY Children…& a recipe for ‘Gran’s Soup’.”

♥Hi Friends!

(Don’t ask about my grandbaby.  I just keep reminding myself that patience is a virtue!)  Now I want to state right out of the gate that we are far from perfect in the parenting department, let alone experts on “EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY children”.  Continue reading “EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY Children…& a recipe for ‘Gran’s Soup’.”

“HEALING with Mother Nature: Part 2-EARTH…& a recipe for ‘Mango Pineapple Smoothie or Popsicles’.”

♥Hi Friends!

Mother Nature and the gifts Heavenly Father has blessed her with are awesome and amazing!  The more I learn about the nature of His HEALING power, I appreciate more and more all the resources around me, that He has created, that HEAL and bless me and those I love.  This post (Earth), and my last (Sun), are about two of His big ones! Continue reading “HEALING with Mother Nature: Part 2-EARTH…& a recipe for ‘Mango Pineapple Smoothie or Popsicles’.”

“Yoga HEALS…& a recipe for ‘Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles or Sorbet’.”

♥Hi Friends!

I have to say, this post is about something that I’m a real newbie at.  But something for a long time now that has spoken to my SPIRIT, my BODY and my MIND.  It’s yoga.  Stay with me now!  Over the last few years I’ve come to identify myself as a ‘conservative hippie’.  And all that really means to me is that I’m a daughter of God who desires to love and serve my family and others, while showing righteous stewardship for all that God has created, with respect and reverence. “You are not the enemy!…& a recipe for ‘Mom’s Totally Awesome Trail Mix’.”

♥Hi Friends!

A couple of months ago a woman came and spoke to the youth in our congregation about the Adversary’s tools that he uses to make us feel worthless and forget who we are (children of God), with the sole intent to destroy us.  She related a story about her teenage son who had struggled with pornography a few years back.  Continue reading “You are not the enemy!…& a recipe for ‘Mom’s Totally Awesome Trail Mix’.”

“Satan doesn’t want us to Create…& a recipe for ‘Yummy Pasta Bake’.”

♥Hi Friends!

I’m definitely not a numbers gal.  And after about 7th grade I could not wrap my brain around math at all.  (I remember having a recurring nightmare about these numbers counting higher and higher and rushing by me and leaving me behind.  I couldn’t get in the line because they were going too fast.  Scary, huh?  I know!)  And you can forget about english and creative story writing.  There’s just not a creative bone in my body!  Or so I thought. “The science of Gratitude…& a recipe for ‘Black Bean Salsa’.”

♥Hi Friends!

My friend Ganel Lyn Condie wrote a book entitled “I Can Do Hard Things With God.”  It is an inspiring compilation of experiences from women who share their trials and how they came to find HEALING through the Atonement.  (It’s a definite “must read”.)  In chapter 4, Andrea Palmer shares her family’s financial struggle and how Gratitude helped her get through it. Continue reading “The science of Gratitude…& a recipe for ‘Black Bean Salsa’.”

“Because he lives!…& a recipe for ‘Red Quinoa Spring Rolls’.”

♥Hi Friends!

SPRING!  What a HEALING time of year!  It sounds so cliché, I know, but I love the feeling of rebirth from the change of seasons, more daylight, hearing the birds singing in the morning, the tulips and daffodils, and you should see my neighbors tree bursting with pink blossoms.  It’s astounding!  (And a picture of it is now the wallpaper on my phone.) Continue reading “Because he lives!…& a recipe for ‘Red Quinoa Spring Rolls’.”
