♥Hi Friends!

Grandma and Grandpa Peterson have hands down the best garden ever!!!  I’m not sure if that’s because they are very particular about the quality and taste of what they grow and they’ve been doing it since the dawn of time.  Or because one of the biggest reasons they grow their garden each year, spending hours tending it, weeding it, watering it, and harvesting it, as well as canning much of it, is to share it with their family and neighbors. With Fall comes the last of the garden harvest.  (As a side note, do you need a good idea for the end of season tomatoes?  Grandma Peterson, my wonderful mother-in-law, is bringing me up the last of her “not-so-great-and-have-been-slightly-frozen-a-couple-of-times” tomatoes from her garden which I will promptly roast and make in to several batches of my ‘ROASTED TOMATO BASIL SOUP’ and frozen for a later date.)
