“I’m Here!…& a recipe for ‘Orange Cranberry Sauce’.”

♥Hi Friends!

So it’s been a couple of months since I last checked in, but finally after much waiting, the last week of October this happened…

WillHospital

He’s perfect and smells like Heaven!  This makes grandbaby number 3!  Tally?  One adorable almost 4 year old big sister to her two little brothers, ages 2 and almost 2 months!

And then the third week in November this happened…

KatelynTemple

Our second daughter (child #2) married her Sweetheart in the Bountiful LDS Temple followed by a reception the first week of December.  We feel blessed to add another son to the family and are grateful for how crazy in love he is with our daughter!

And so, my brain space has been occupied to overflowing!  All good stuff, just overflowing!  (Can you say “constant brain cramp”!?!)

Therefore the last few weeks have been filled with painting and changing rooms (little sister has been so excited to claim her big sister’s room), decorating for Christmas (which certainly didn’t happen before the wedding), and getting all of #2’s belongings moved over to their apartment and rearranging storage space.  Nothing like a move or a wedding to help clean out the clutter!  Which incidentally, helps clear up space in my brain as we all work to simplify!

Along with checking in and giving an update on my temporary absence, I wanted to share a recipe for an amazing and HEALTHY raw cranberry sauce.  And, since it’s the season of ♥love and ♥joy and ♥peace and ♥hope and ♥gratitude and the ♥Greatest Gift we’ve been given, I wanted to leave you with this little video message about the birth of our Savior!

♥Love you!

I whipped this up Thanksgiving morning.  It was a hit at Grandma’s!  It’s so delicious, easy to make, and amazingly HEALTHY for you.  And I used the leftovers in our smoothies!

ORANGE CRANBERRY SAUCE

  • 1  12 oz bag of cranberries
  • 1  apple
  • 1  orange
  • 1  cup agave nectar
  • 1  Tbsp REAL SALT or 1 1/2 tsp sea salt

Lightly peel most of the rind off the orange, leaving the good-for-you white stuff.  Discard stem and chop whole apple and orange in to chunks.  Place all ingredients in food processor and process until smooth.  Delish!
